MeetSam

Attending to life with deep curiosity and reverence for the human and more-than-human world.

I live in the East Midlands in my quirky wooden house, where I work, play, create and dream.

I am an accredited counsellor, person-centred creative arts therapist, and the founder of Akira Counselling (est. 2016). My practice spans educational settings across all ages and private practice with adults and young people 13 plus.

My ethos

The roots of my practice stem from my belief that a caring, non-judgemental attitude in a safe space is core to nurturing mental wellbeing.
